Pheochromocytoma/paragangliomas (Pheo/PGL) are rare neuroendocrine cancers with strong genetic background. Mutations in the SDHB subunit of succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) predispose to malignant disease with limited therapeutic options and poor prognosis.
